The Police Standards and Training Council was created by the New Hampshire Legislature in 1971. It is the sole source of basic training, and the primary source of in-service training for all law enforcement officers in the State of New Hampshire.

The Council currently certifies almost 4,000 police officers, both full and part-time, employed by the state, counties, and municipalities, and trains or certifies almost 475 sworn and employees of the Department of Corrections.

The office hours are from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Eastern time, Monday through Friday.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

THE NEW HAMPSHIRE POLICE STANDARDS AND TRAINING COUNCIL WILL CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE READOPTION AND PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE ADMINISTRATIVE RULES POL CHAPTERS 100 THROUGH 600.  

THE MEETING WILL BE HELD AT THE ARTHUR D. KEHAS LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINING FACILITY AND CAMPUS AT 17 INSTITUTE DRIVE IN CONCORD, NEW HAMPSHIRE ON THE FOLLOWING DATE:

 TUESDAY

 JUNE 28, 2016

 9:00 AM 

All interested persons will be afforded reasonable opportunity to testify and to submit data, views or arguments in writing, or, in electronic format in accordance with the terms of this notice. Written comments and documentation as described above, must be received not later than July 11, 2016, (10 days following the public hearing), and may be submitted by U.S. mail addressed to:
